From the days when bards would sing their tales in every inn and court of the land...to this--The
World Wide Web! But the sweet voice of the muse has not changed.
Here we share selections from contributing poets listed under the image of the bard.
The work of Richard Gylgayton seems to explore the place of art, myth and the muse in modern life--or more directly, the struggle of the artist to realize his or her voice in this “Age of Noise.” He is putting the final touches on his first volume of poetry, the culmination of over 25 years in close association with the muse. Entitled “Full Canvas,” it will present over a hunderd pages of Richard’s most evocative poetry, and is scheduled for publication later this summer through the Writing Shop Press.
